Van Gogh

I learned about Van Gogh today and I think he's pretty fascinating. There's just something about the tortured artist thing that gets me every time. It's been said that during some of his fits of psychosis he would eat dirt and tubes of paint.

I love both his earlier and later work.
His paintings were very gloomy and dark at the beginning of his career, but once he moved to Provence, France he started using complementary colors that made his paintings electric.

A Pair of Boots (1887), Almond Blossom (1890), Self-Portrait(1889), The Potato Eaters (1885), Flower Beds In Holland (1883), Coal Barges 1888),
